The legacy of our shop dates back to 1946, originating as Aiken Auto Body, which was run diligently for years under the watchful eye of Mel Aiken. In 2021, I took over the reins, shaping this business into what is now known as Strother Brothers Auto Care. For the first year, my brother and I served as mobile mechanics, lending our skills to the local community directly at their doorsteps. After two years in operation, we are proud to invite our customers to our fully equipped shop in Valencia, PA.
What makes us stand out? As a Veteran Owned and Operated business, we have built Strother Brothers Auto Care on the principles of duty, honor, and dedication that we were imbued within service. We pride ourselves on being the only shop in the area offering Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs), providing our customers with an in-depth, transparent view of their vehicle’s condition.
We’re not your typical auto repair shop – we strive to offer an environment that’s comfortable and enjoyable. Complimentary drinks and snacks are available to all our customers, and arcade games offer a fun distraction while you wait.
My journey into the auto repair industry began as a Diesel Technician (3521) in the Marine Corps. After leaving service, I found myself continuously engaged in car repairs for friends and family. This passion drove me to establish Strother Brothers Auto Care, allowing me to serve the broader community with my expertise.
Working alongside me is my brother, a recent recipient of his inspection license. We live by the motto, “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” upholding an approach to service that is fair, honest, and focused on genuine needs.
Beyond the workshop, I am a dedicated family man. I cherish spending quality time with my loved ones, whether soaking up rays on our boat or simply unwinding on the couch. My girlfriend Sarah, my 1.5-year-old daughter, and our loyal dog Gunner are my pillars of support. Sarah is instrumental in making key executive decisions for our business, while Gunner offers endless companionship and affection.
